Here’s our story
Where it began
Since 2008, Ashland Mountain Adventures has been the go-to spot for mountain bikers in the area, thanks to local MTB enthusiasts Bill Roussel and Sue O’Daly. Over the next 13 years, their passion for mountain biking and building a mountain biking community, as well their unbeatable knowledge of local trails made Ashland Mountain Adventures a must-stop shop for mountain bikers looking to conquer the terrain.

In April 2022, Bill and Sue passed the torch to the shop’s current owners, long time friends and avid mountain bikers- Chris (Giggles) Herbst and Mike (Moondog) May. Filling Bill’s and Sue’s shoes is no easy task. But, as you might imagine you’ll usually find them in the shop, shuttling bikers up the mountain, or on the trail (or possibly at Gil’s). Swing by the repair shop and you might even catch a glimpse of Bill working his magic (yes he’s still around-sometimes!). Come check out the shop to see what the hype is all about!
